RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

  • The renter must hold a similar Greek driving licence or a driving licence of an EU Member State<\/strong> with a date of issue of not less than (1) one year<\/strong>. A valid International Driving Permit is required for non-EU countries<\/strong> accompanied by the national driving license. The renter must be 23 years old for a car<\/strong>. Under no circumstances <\/strong>will more than one (1) vehicle be rented with one driver\u2019s license<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The rental period<\/strong> and the price<\/strong> are agreed before the vehicle is picked up. In case of return of the vehicle before the agreed period, the renter is not entitled to a refund<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Minimum rental time is 1 day (24 hours)<\/strong>. Each additional hour up to 3 hours<\/sup><\/strong> the renter is charged 1\/5 of the daily rate<\/strong>, beyond 3 hours is charged an additional day<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The pick-up and delivery of the vehicle must take place during office hours or outside office hours with the consent of Venetia Rentals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Insurance: <\/strong>\n
      \n
    • the rental vehicles are covered with third party insurance (simple insurance)<\/strong>. We don’t provide additional coverages<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • In the event of an accident caused by the renter<\/strong>, the insurance covers the property damage caused to the other vehicle, while the property damage to the rented vehicle is compensated by the renter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • In the event of an accident caused by a third party<\/strong>, the damages are compensated by the party that caused the accident after we have been informed of all the required data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n
      \n

      The Renter:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      1. Must deliver the vehicle in the same condition<\/strong> and with same tyres and equipment<\/strong> as of the date of this agreement. In case of any tyre damage or failure<\/strong>, the renter must stop<\/strong> the vehicle and inform Venetia Rentals immediately<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Must follow the Greek Traffic Code<\/strong> and must not use the vehicle for street racing<\/strong>, on rough terrain<\/strong> or sand<\/strong>, or other circumstances that may cause damage<\/strong> to the vehicle or is prohibited by law. The vehicle shall be operated exclusively<\/strong> by the renter, who must not drive<\/strong> the vehicle under the influence of alcoho<\/strong>l and\/or other intoxicating substances<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Must be aware that the vehicle is intended for use by a maximum of five (5) persons<\/strong>. In the event that the vehicle is used by more than five (5) persons at any time, a fine of \u20ac600<\/strong> will be payable and the rental period will be terminated immediately<\/strong>. The renter<\/strong> may also be reported to the police<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. In case of any accident caused by the renter<\/strong>, or any form of vandalism<\/strong> or component theft<\/strong>, the renter must pay<\/strong> for all<\/strong> damages<\/strong> to the vehicle as well as the daily charge for every day the vehicle is not in a condition to be rented<\/strong>. In case the vehicle is stolen<\/strong>, the renter shall be deemed responsible and provide full indemnification to Venetia Rentals<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Is responsible for any fine or penalty<\/strong> due to violation of traffic code or removal of the vehicle license<\/strong> plates. In case of removal of the vehicle license plates the renter shall pay<\/strong> the daily charge for every day<\/strong> Venetia Rentals is not able to rent out the vehicle. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Must keep the vehicle locked at all times<\/strong>. In case the vehicle keys are lost, destroyed or stolen<\/strong>, the renter shall pay<\/strong> for their replacement<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. Must return the vehicle with the amount of fuel specified in the rental agreement<\/strong>. If the amount is smaller, the renter shall charged for refueling the vehicle. There will be no payment made to the renter for any excess fuel above the initial level<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n

        • IT IS PROHIBITED TO STOP, PARK AND DRIVE INSIDE THE VILLAGE OF FOLEGANDROS AND ON THE HARBOUR PIER.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • TRANSPORT OF THE VEHICLE OUTSIDE THE ISLAND OF FOLEGANDROS IS PROHIBITED<\/strong>, without prior notice from the renter and a signed written authorization from Venetia Rentals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
